Sarah Gamp

Sarah Gamp is a nurse in "Martin Chuzzlewit," a novel by Charles Dickens, originally serialised between January 1843 and July 1844, famous for her bulky umbrella, and for confirming her opinions of things by a constant reference to the authority of an imaginary Mrs. Harris.
